Western NY's favorite Party Band Zephyr was formed in 1991. Pete on bass and Steve on guitar, have played together since 1980. Scottie has provided the beat since 2007 and Tiff - the 4th Zephyr - is the newest addition to the band and started playing with us in 2011.
Our site is a tribute to our friends, affectionately know as ZephyrHeads.

Tiff finally got to Waddington's with us, then to hrt hometown bar at the 'Coach.
Scottie even was caught Tebow-ing...but it didn't seem to help on Sunday!

About a year ago we booked our first date at Waddington's Tavern in Falconer...at the time it was still Mels's Place. Jeff and his crew were great hosts and we've played there about once a month ever since. They even treated us to Pineapple-Upside-Down-Cake shots! So, for their hospitality, Rhonda, Jeff and all our friends at Waddingtons are the ZephyrHeads of the month for January!

This picture is the album cover from the 60's Denver based band Zephyr, previously featuring up and coming guitarist Tommy Bolin who died just before going on tour with Deep Purple.  As a novelty to the namesake, Pete has found and collected all 3 of that bands vintage albums releases on CD.
